This command sets the maximum distance that flames from a molotov or incendiary grenade can spread from their initial point of impact with the ground.

How To Use inferno_max_range

  1. Enable the developer console in Counter-Strike settings.
  2. Open the console with the tilde key (~).
  3. Enter inferno_max_range [Range], replacing bracketed arguments with the value you want, then press Enter.

This command is listed as compatible with Counter-Strike 2.

Syntax And Arguments

inferno_max_range [Range]
Range The maximum range that flames can spread from where you threw the grenade. The default value for this command is 150.

This command sets how long it takes for a molotov or incendiary grenade to bloom out and reach its maximum spread. If you set this value higher than the time the molotov is active, it will never reach its full size and stay contained to just a small section of where you threw it.
