This command can be used to enable and disable friendly fire. When friendly fire is enabled, players can damage their own teammates. The default setting for this command depends on gamemode. Competitive game modes have friendly fire enabled, casual do not.

How To Use mp_friendlyfire

  1. Enable the developer console in Counter-Strike settings.
  2. Open the console with the tilde key (~).
  3. Enter mp_friendlyfire [0 / 1], replacing bracketed arguments with the value you want, then press Enter.

This command is listed as compatible with Counter-Strike 2.

mp_friendlyfire [0 / 1]
0 / 1 Enter a 0 here to disable friendly fire, meaning teammates won't be able to hurt eachother. Enter a 1 here to enable friendly fire.
