This command allows you to set the max distance from the camera that an object can be rendered onto your screen.

cl_maxrenderable_dist [Render Distance]
Description
This command allows you to set the max distance from the camera that an object can be rendered onto your screen.
How To Use cl_maxrenderable_dist
- Enable the developer console in Counter-Strike settings.
- Open the console with the tilde key (
~). - Enter
cl_maxrenderable_dist [Render Distance], replacing bracketed arguments with the value you want, then press Enter.
This legacy command is not currently listed as compatible with Counter-Strike 2.
Syntax And Arguments
cl_maxrenderable_dist [Render Distance]
| Render Distance | The maximum distance away from you that you want objects to be rendered. Set to a lower value for objects to potentially render late, and a high value for objects to render as soon as possible. High values could cause performance drops for players on older computers. |
