This network command is used to determine how many seconds your client will wait without receiving a packet from the server before disconnecting itself.
How To Use cl_timeout
- Enable the developer console in Counter-Strike settings.
- Open the console with the tilde key (
~). - Enter
cl_timeout [Seconds], replacing bracketed arguments with the value you want, then press Enter.
This command is listed as compatible with Counter-Strike 2.
Syntax And Arguments
cl_timeout [Seconds]
| Seconds | Choose a number between 4 and 30 seconds. This sets how long you can go without receiving data from the server before disconnecting. Default value for this command is 30 seconds. |
